Cet article est consacré aux origines de la revue culturelle mexicaine Nexos et à
ses quatre premières années d’activités, au cours desquelles l’historien Enrique
Florescano en fut le directeur (1978-1982). Partant du principe que les périodiques
sont à la fois des espaces ayant leurs propres caractéristiques et dynamiques et
des espaces où se concentrent, se matérialisent et s’expriment certains processus
historiques, l’analyse proposé se situe à deux niveaux. D’une part, en se basant
sur de multiples sources, il étudie comment cette revue s’est spécifiquement
développée ainsi que le réseau de personnes qui s’est formé autour d’elle, en
accordant une place prépondérante aux entretiens avec les différents intervenants.
D’autre part, il analyse le contexte politique, culturel et social qui a rendu son
émergence possible et façonné certains de ses principaux traits.
