Dans ce travail on essaie d’établir un cadre interprétatif du discours par rapport
à l’arrivée du chemin de fer à la ville de San Luis Potosí en 1888, en analisant les
stratégies de légitimation que le groupe au pouvoir menait à bonne fin, lequel
reposait sur des idées modernes et positivistes. D’abord, on étudiera les concepts
clés pour interpréter les événements par rapport à l’arrivée du train à la ville de
San Luis Potosí en 1888. Deuxièmement, on essaiera de faire l’application de ces
concepts à l’interprétation d’une situation spécifique, c’est à dire, « une
manifestation patriotique » sous forme d’une procession qui a eu lieu pendant les
festivités de l’inauguration du Ferrocarril Nacional Mexicano le 3 novembre 1888,
dans laquelle, selon notre interprétation personnel, un nouvel ordre social
s’envisageait et légitimait d’après les idées du groupe qui exer?ait le pouvoir.
