Resumen

En 1538, algunos años después de la caída y muerte del último cazonci, la antigua capital política y económica del reino purépecha ubicada en Tzintzuntzan fue trasladada a Pátzcuaro -hasta ese momento barrio de Tzintzuntzan- a instancia de don Vasco de Quiroga.
